Four materials, two production paths

Injection‑molded frames (TR90 / PC) and acetate or metal frames don't move through our factory the same way. Here's exactly what to expect from each, stage by stage.

Every style begins with mold tooling. Because the investment is higher, we break tooling into three visible checkpoints — Tooling, Mold Testing, Mold Sample — so you always know what stage your mold is in.

The design‑and‑tooling stages below — 2D Drawing, 3D Drawing, RP Sample, and Mold Tooling — can each be quoted and paid separately, rather than as one lump‑sum mold fee upfront. You confirm and pay for one stage, review the result, then decide to move to the next. This spreads the investment out and gives you a checkpoint to review the design before committing further. Ask us for a stage‑by‑stage quote if this fits your budget better than a single mold fee.

Style Confirmation

We confirm which models move forward, plus material, lens type, and logo application method — and lay out the full pricing picture, either as a single mold fee or broken into stages, so all costs are clear upfront.

2D Drawing

Est. 1–2 daysOwn quote & payment

Once the mold fee is paid, we start with a 2D drawing to confirm every detail on paper first. Only once the 2D drawing is approved do we move on to 3D.

3D Drawing

With the 2D drawing confirmed, our engineers produce precise 3D CAD files — dimensions, curves, thickness, angles — so every detail is agreed before physical work begins.

RP Model (Rapid Prototype)

After you approve the 3D drawing, we produce a rapid prototype and courier it to you so you can check appearance, hinge and nose‑pad function, and wearing comfort in hand — and flag anything that needs adjusting before any mold is cut.

Tooling (Mold Production)

With the RP model approved and the mold fee paid, we begin manufacturing the production mold.

Note: if an existing mold can be reused for part of the design, this stage may take less time — not every custom project qualifies, so we'll confirm case by case.

Mold Testing

Est. 5–10 days

The finished mold is tested to confirm it performs correctly before we commit to sampling from it.

Mold Sample Production

Est. 12–15 days

We produce mold samples for your review.

Shipping of Mold Samples

Est. 3–5 working days

Delivered by DHL / EMS / UPS / FedEx, door to door.

Color Sample Production

Est. 7–15 days

We produce color samples based on your confirmed design and color choices.

Shipping of Color Samples

Mass Production

Est. 50–65 days

With order details confirmed, deposit paid, and the color sample approved, full production begins. We keep you updated on progress with video and photos throughout.

Quality Inspection

Once mass production is complete, we carry out a spot check or full inspection depending on the project, and send you photos or video of the finished goods.

Final Shipping

Est. 3–5 working days

Once the balance is paid, we arrange shipment via DHL / EMS / UPS / FedEx, door to door.

Some acetate and metal styles also require tooling — just at a lower mold fee than injection, and folded into the sample stage rather than broken into separate checkpoints.

Detail Confirmation

Est. 1–3 days

We discuss and confirm every detail — frame model, material, lens, size, logo, logo placement and color — and lay out the mold price (if a mold is needed), sample price, and mass‑production price, so all costs are clear from the start.

Proforma Invoice & Sample Payment

Est. 1–2 days

We prepare the sample proforma invoice; once you're ready, payment is arranged.

Technical Drawing

Est. 1–3 days

Our engineers draw the technical drawing, showing frame design, size, and logo placement, size and method for your confirmation.

Drawing Revisions

Est. 1–3 days / round

We revise the drawing until you're fully happy. This is the stage to fine‑tune everything — changes get harder and may add cost once physical sampling starts.

Sample Production

Est. 20–25 days

Once the drawing is confirmed, our production department arranges material purchase and produces your sample. A lower‑cost mold is arranged here if the style requires one.

Production Photo Updates

Ongoing

We send photos throughout production so you can track progress and stay in control.

Final Confirmation Photos

Est. 1 day

Once the sample is finished, we send final photos for your confirmation.

Sample Shipping

Est. 3–5 working days

The sample is shipped by DHL / EMS / UPS / FedEx, door to door.

Once the sample is approved — moving to mass production

Mass Order Confirmation

Est. 1–2 days

With the sample approved, we confirm the full order details — quantities, colors, and any final specs.

Deposit & Mass Production

Est. 40–50 days

Once the deposit is paid, mass production begins. We keep you updated on progress with video and photos throughout.

Quality Inspection

Est. 2–4 days

Once mass production is complete, we carry out a full inspection and send you photos or video of the finished goods.

Balance Payment & Shipping

Est. 3–5 working days

Once the balance is paid, we arrange shipment by DHL / EMS / UPS / FedEx, door to door, and follow the shipment until it arrives. Any order or after‑sale questions reach us 24/7.
